Using SPOS, a captain can avoid bad weather whenever possible whilst, at the same time, reducing transit time and fuel consumption. SPOS is essential for ocean crossings, where weather can be particularly severe, and for smaller ships on short sea crossings which are vulnerable to the weather conditions.

For short charters we can offer our RouteGuard solution. RouteGuard provides an optimum route recommendation followed by daily updates and a Post Voyage Analysis Report (PVAR) for each voyage.

Our team of Master Mariners and Nautical Meteorologists provide route and weather information on a daily basis with an updated, reliable ETA and a clear overview of the ship’s performance. After each voyage a route analysis is provided which can be used to aid negotiations or claims if the voyage did not comply with the terms of the Charter Party.
